Mimiko who is the fifth executive governor of the 36-year-old state is expected to use the forum to declare his intention to run for governor for another term of four years.
The Governor who gave indication of his readiness to settle issues relating to his second term ambition once and for all, made his position known in Akure yesterday, while addressing members of the Igala Community in the state who stormed his office to declare their support for his re-election bid.
He told the people that his administration had been running an all inclusive government in the past three and a half years devoid of any discrimination on religious or ethnic grounds.
The Governor, while expressing his appreciation to the members of the Igala Community for commiserating with him on the death of some leaders of the Students Union in the state, promised that his government would continue to run an egalitarian government that would be fair to all residents of Ondo State.
Mimiko also thanked the Igala community for their support to him and his administration in Ondo State.
The leader of the Igala Community in Ondo State, Mrs Blessing Imajiede, in her address told the Governor that members of her community had been watching with keen interest the various developmental programmes of the state government.
She also stated that they are in total support of Dr Mimiko for a second term of office, having been direct beneficiaries of the various empowerment programmes of the present administration in the state.
Imajiede promised her people's continuous cooperation with the government and people of Ondo State to ensure more development in the state.
